El Paso, Texas – Election Day for the March 2026 Primary Election is today, March 3, 2026 and polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. In Texas, when voting in a Primary Election, voters choose either a Democratic or Republican ballot at the voting place. Each party’s primary allows voters to select the candidates they want to represent their party in the November 2026 General Election. Ballots for this election include candidates for federal, state and local offices, as well as propositions. In races with three or more candidates, a Runoff Election will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 if no candidate receives more than 50% of the votes.
