The El Paso County Election Department’s website has been ranked “Outstanding” for a third time by the League of Women Voters of Texas. The League of Women Voters of Texas released the results from their statewide survey of election websites. Out of all 254 Texas counties, only 35 counties received the “Outstanding” ranking. The League rates each county website on the quality, accuracy and accessibility of information available online.

“Seven years ago we began a partnership with the El Paso based company Hello Amigo, determined to design and offer a website which would provide up to date accurate election information while being secure and accessible for all El Paso County voters. We continued to build upon this goal with the creation of our mobile application and by frequently updating our site as election law and policies change,” Lisa Wise, El Paso County Elections Administrator stated. “We’re grateful to receive the acknowledgement from the League of Women Voters of Texas and encourage the public to visit the website at www.epcountyvotes.com or download the app free of charge at the Play Store for Android or the Apple Store for iPhone,” Wise added.
