El Paso, Texas – The 383rd District Court today granted a temporary injunction extending voting hours at all voting sites across El Paso County by one hour.

As a result of the Court’s order, all voting sites will remain open until 8:00 p.m.

Under the ruling:
- Voters who were already in line before 7:00 p.m. will be permitted to cast their ballots in the normal manner.
- Voters who were not in line before 7:00 p.m. will be allowed to cast a provisional ballot until 8:00 p.m.

Despite the extended hour for voting, County Election officials encourage all eligible voters to proceed to their voting site ahead of 7:00 p.m. For additional information, please contact Melissa Martin, M.Martin@epcounty.com.
