Sticker Design Contest
2020 “I Voted” Sticker Winners!
Congratulations to Heistheway T. White for winning the 2020 “I Voted” Sticker Contest! The sticker made it’s grand debut during the 2020 elections. Thank you to our judges Armando Alvarez from Hello Amigo, Patrick Gabaldon from Gabaldon Art and Catie McCorry-Andalis from The University of Texas at El Paso.
The El Paso County Elections Department invited local high school students to participate in the first El Paso County “I Voted” sticker design contest. The contest was open to all high school students in the county and the winning design was used as the official “I Voted” sticker. The sticker was distributed to voters at all Early Voting and Election Day polling sites during the 2020 elections. The deadline to submit a design was October 31, 2019.
“The El Paso County Elections Department is excited to continue working with high school students and encouraging their participation in the electoral process,” said Lisa Wise, Elections Administrator.
A first, second and third place design was selected by a distinguished panel of judges. Judging was based on the artistic skill, theme, and uniqueness of the design.
