El Paso County Elections Department's Website Ranked Outstanding in Statewide Review Published on: Friday, November 22, 2019

El Paso, TX- The El Paso County Election Department’s website has been ranked “Outstanding” by the League of Women Voters of Texas. This week, the League of Women Voters of Texas released the results from their statewide survey of election websites from all 254 Texas counties with only 9 counties receiving the “Outstanding” ranking. The League reviewed content for security, accessibility and compliance with Texas Election Code among other criteria.

“Three years ago we began a partnership with the El Paso based company VIVA + Impulse Creative, now Hello Amigo, determined to design and offer a website which would provide up to date accurate election information while being secure and accessible for all El Paso County voters. We continued to build upon this goal with the creation of our mobile application and by frequently updating our site as election law and policies change,” Lisa Wise, El Paso County Elections Administrator stated. “We’re grateful to receive the acknowledgement from the League of Women Voters of Texas and encourage the public to visit the website at www.epcountyvotes.com or download the app free of charge at the Play Store for Android or the Apple Store for iPhone,” Wise added.
